We’re so excited to share that we’ve completed the vast majority of the USDA RUS grant project to deliver fiber internet to Buffalo Valley! While we are required to complete the project in three years, we have pushed forward to get it done more quickly and will wrap up the last few fiber connections this spring and summer.
Bridging the gap between living in the beautiful places we choose and having access to exceptional internet service is what we continue to strive for in the rural communities we serve. So many people helped make this happen for the residents of Buffalo Valley, Wyoming.
First, we would like to thank the Heart Six Guest Ranch for allowing us space within the lodge for community internet access areas. Without this space, the grant would have been more difficult, if not impossible, to obtain.
We also carry gratitude for the Black Rock Ranger District personnel for both accommodating the community meetings and helping to expedite the rights-of-way and permitting processes. Their alliance and support helped us greatly in accomplishing this work.
Finally, the residents themselves deserve our thanks! Individuals that offered their letters and emails of support helped tremendously in allowing Silver Star to be awarded the grant for their community.

We’re so proud to have been given the opportunity to enrich the lives of the residents of Buffalo Valley and offer opportunities for rural connectivity.
