Community Service Project : Getting Ready for the Tin Cup Challenge
The Tin Cup Challenge is an annual community giving campaign and fun-run that is sponsored by the Community Foundation of Teton Valley (CFTV). It is one of the most innovative charitable fundraisers in the nation. Last year, the event raised over 1.5 million dollars for local non-profits!
This year, the fun run and community celebration that caps off the giving campaign will be held Saturday, July 21st, at the Driggs City Park.
As you can imagine, putting on such an event requires a tremendous amount of planning and preparation. Our Teton Valley community service team offered to lend a hand: Angela Foster – team leader, Aaron Jenkins, Brian Pentz, Chris Blayne, Connie Ceja, and Galen Cosgrave.
Together they were able to put together roughly 5,400 brochures for the event, as well as count and sort them for distribution to the local mail routes.
A great day out of the office – productive, fun, and for a great cause!
