  • Project supplies were donated by local businesses.

Silver Star loves to lend a hand to a great cause and, recently, we were fortunate enough to do just that for the Teton County 4-H Garden Club’s Giving Garden!

The 4-H Giving  Garden was funded through a Community Foundation of Teton Valley Spring 2017 Grant, which enabled the club to purchase supplies to install the garden infrastructure. Local businesses, such as Valley Lumber and Rental, MD Nursery and Landscaping, and Trail Creek Nursery also helped with garden supplies.

Silver Star’s Driggs community service team – JD Winder, Krista Cook, Brian Pentz, Spencer Dye, Craig Walsh, and Aaron Jenkins – were on-hand to construct raised garden beds for the project.

Now, through labor and team work, Teton County 4-H  Garden Club members will make it grow.

…And the best part of the project is that the fresh garden produce will be donated to the Teton Valley Food Pantry and the Seniors West of the Tetons!
