Syringa Wireless, headquartered in Pocatello, Idaho and providing wireless services throughout Eastern Idaho, will join forces with Silver Star Communications to offer an Idaho-based mobile phone solution for Soda Springs residents. Syringa Wireless will reside with Silver Star, conveniently located on Main Street.

With all the benefits of rural small town life, the lack of choice when it comes to certain services can be a drawback.  Syringa believes that having a local presence will appeal to customers who want the convenience and ease of in-person service.  “We know our customers and they know us,” said Evelyn Offret, Silver Star Customer Service Specialist, “It will be even easier for our customers when they can come in here to talk about their mobile phone service, in addition to Cable TV and Internet.”

As a regional company, Syringa is able to offer more flexible plans than some of the big one-size-fits- all national carriers.  Both pre-paid and contract plans will be offered, with plans and phones for every budget.  Unlimited data plans start at just $25 per month.

“While most wireless companies place limitations on data usage by their customers, we are positioned to continue to offer truly unlimited plans at competitive price points,” Scott Dike, general manager for Syringa Wireless said. “This gives our customers an Idaho owned choice for their voice and data provider.”

Both Syringa Wireless and Silver Star Communications will be offering holiday specials through the month of December.
