Media Release: Jeff England elected Chair of USTelecom’s Leadership Committee

December 3, 2021, Thayne, WY- Jeff England, Vice President and CFO of Silver Star Communications, has been elected to serve another term on the USTelecom Board of Directors. He will also serve as Chair of USTelecom’s Leadership Committee, comprised of executives from small-to-medium-sized broadband innovators which serve communities across the United States.

USTelecom is a trade association for communications-related businesses including wireless, internet, cable TV and voice providers. It includes large publicly traded companies as well as small telecommunications companies and cooperatives. The organization advocates for the industry to the media and the government.

Jeff England commented, “It is important for small rural broadband companies like Silver Star to have a voice and the ability to influence federal policy. I look forward to making sure that the unique challenges of broadband expansion in rural areas like those we serve are understood by decision-makers in our nation’s capitol.”
