Silver Star Communications is sponsoring a Short Film Contest for local high school students. The contest will require an individual or group of students to demonstrate how they use technology with a 3-5 minute film. The film can feature cell phones, internet, computers, or any other gadgets, and should be inspired with creativity. There will be four winners, one from each area listed below, who will win a $200 cash prize and Silver Star Gear. Silver Star team members will review the entries and announce the winners on March 16th. Several films will be featured on Silver Star’s website, You Tube channel and Facebook page. If you know a creative high school student pass along the information and have them visit Silverstar.com/movie. Stay tuned in March to view the winning films!

Entries will be accepted from enrolled high school students in Soda Springs, Teton Valley, Star Valley, and Jackson through March 11th. For more contest details, rules and to find out how to enter, click here.
