Silver Star Communications is the local carrier for Internet, Networking, Telephone and Digital TV services, while Silver Star Wireless (our affiliate) provides wireless phone and mobile Internet service. The application process is separate for the two different companies.

Silver Star Wireless is a local wireless phone and mobile internet provider to the communities of Star Valley, Jackson Hole, Swan Valley and Teton Valley. We strive to provide the best wireless coverage and personal service to our customers. Description:
If outgoing and driven describes you, we want to talk to you about working with businesses in Jackson and Teton Valley to make the best choice for their wireless phone service.
Functions:
- Sells products and services.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of products and services, service territories, competition, rate plans, advertising, market share, etc.
- Exceeds customer’s expectations with continued customer service after the sale.
- Evaluates market reactions to sales programs and makes timely adjustments.
- Train others internally and externally on products and services.
- Generates leads, sales reports, forecasts, etc.
- Assists in new product development, of new products, pricing strategies, and marketing materials.
- Keeps current on technology, regulatory guidelines and communications industry
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business or related field.
- 2 plus years of proven sales experience, with knowledge of communications technology.
- Ability to professionally advocate Silver Stars’ positions on issues and negotiate contracts.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to establish business and financial justifications for sales initiatives.
- Employee development and performance management skills with emphasis on sales.
- Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. The ideal person for this job would be a team player, personable, professional, upbeat, and energetic, takes initiative, uses tact and diplomacy.
- Work requires continual attention to detail. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Resourceful, Roll up the sleeves attitude. The successful candidate must have the initiative to resolve problems and seek answers independently and enthusiastically persist until goals are achieved.
- Ability to hold a valid Wyoming or Idaho Driver’s License.
