CASVAR 2011 Charity Bike Ride

Riders will be provided with a variety of breakfast goodies, fully stocked rest stops with gorgeous views, sag support and if you have time later in the afternoon, you can stick around for a real, down home cowboy BBQ.

This year’s ride is for the benefit of the family of Scott Davis. Casvar 2011 will help us all remember the exemplary life that Scott lived. So, we hope you can help us raise some money to assit Scott’s children with their education and future endeavors. Scott was raised in Bountiful, Utah, where he roamed the Wasatch Mountains from an early age. His love of outdoor activities was a constant in his life as he went through college, pursued entrepreneurial activities, and had three children with his wife Kim. Scott hiked, biked and fished throughout the West, but had a special connection to Star Valley, where he loved nothing more than fly fishing on Stump Creek. Scott cycled throughout the valley as well. Just two months after he completed Casvar 2010, he died in a gun accident while working with Boy Scouts–another passion in his life. Scott left behind three kids under the age of 14 (Monte, Sydney and Kari).

Could you please tell me the elevation that is climbed during the 65 mile segment of the race. How many hills are there and now steep. Thank you, Marian
