- A DSL modem is required for DSL service (not Fiber to the Home). DSL modems are available on a lease & protect program for $5 a month. This program will include a technician visit to troubleshoot a faulty modem, if necessary, and replacements if the modem should break. Modems are also available for purchase with a 30-day warranty for $44.95.
